Join Las Vegas Worm Farm for a hands-on seed starting workshop in Las Vegas designed specifically for Southern Nevada gardeners.

You’ll choose from a variety of fall and winter vegetables and plant up to 24 vegetable starts to take home. We’ll provide the seeds, planting materials, tray, and everything you need.

What You’ll Learn

We’ll walk through how to choose fall vegetables, properly start seeds, care for young seedlings, and prepare them for your garden.
This workshop is designed to make seed starting simple and approachable for beginners.

You’ll get:

No gardening experience needed.

Everything you need during the workshop is provided: the seeds, pots & tray, growing materials, tools, and everything you need.

Seed Starting Workshop for Las Vegas Gardeners

Growing vegetables in Southern Nevada is different from gardening in many other parts of the country. Our hot fall temperatures and short transition into cooler weather make timing especially important.

This seed starting workshop in Las Vegas focuses specifically on vegetables appropriate for our fall and winter growing season.

You’ll get hands-on experience starting your own plants while learning what to do with them when you get home.
