Compost is the second layer to a healthy soil.
It keeps the soil biology fed. Compost ensures your plants constantly have access to all the nutrients they need to grow happy and healthly. It also creates a safe home for worm castings (first layer) to thrive. Compost helps retain moistures and also can help break up hard soils.
Application Rate: Compost should be applied atleast 3x a year. 1. Valentines Day, 2. Memorial Day, 3. Labor Day.
