Positions and Descriptions

Property Care

What you’ll be do:
– Maintaining walkways
– Pulling weeds
– Triming plants
– General cleanup

✔ Great for beginners
✔ Light–moderate physical work

Orders & Bagging

What you’ll be do:
– Filling bags (compost, castings, etc.)
– Creating bags
– Labeling products
– Preping orders for pickup 

✔ Repetitive, detail-focused
✔ Light-moderate physical work

Compost & Amendment Prep

What you’ll be doing:
– Shoveling compost
– Sifting compost
– Operating a trommel (with guidance)
– Moving materials

✔ Physical work involved
✔ Equipment use (supervised)

Volunteer Commitment Guidelines

1. First no-show → Check-in

2. Second no-show → Warning

3. Third no-show → Restriction

Worm Farm Technician

Job Description:
Unloading 2 tons of compost, feeding compost into a trommel, spreading wood chips/compost, bagging compost/woodchips, clearing weeds, clearing pathways, creating bags, water worms, feed worms, 

Important Notice:
You will be outside all day. You MUST BE able to lift 50lbs. There are only shade structures on the property and no air conditioning. You will be exposed to the elements as well as plants that can poke, prick, and cut you. Additionally, there are dangerous pieces of machinery and equipment that could cause bodily injury. 

Frequency:
1-2x per week (Thursday and/or Fridays)

Pay:
$100 per day

Job Description:
Minimum requirements are to create roughly 30 static pieces of content, edit 4 videos between 10-20 minutes long, and create 16 shorts/reels per month. You will not be required to post content only create, edit, and send the content. You will not have to upload the content. 
All content follows a strict schedule, it has a basic format, outline, and description that should be followed.
You are encouraged/required to use AI in producing some of the content. 
Creativity and uniqueness is encouraged with in the current branding. 

Important Notice:
Timelines are strict and free flowing communication is extremely important to ensure deadlines are met. 

Frequency: 
Weekly deadlines

Pay:
$1 per static and $5 per video/shorts

Customer Experience Associate

Job Description:
Greet customers and assist with pickup orders
Answer questions about worms, compost, and soil products
Prepare and organize customer orders
Process payments and maintain the pickup area
Help visitors feel welcome and excited about building better soil

Comfortable talking with customers
Interested in gardening, soil, or sustainability
Organized and dependable

Frequency: 
1-2x per week (Friday and/or Saturday)

Pay:
$50 per day
